Melanie
mother of almost 3 year old Evelyn with Spastic Diplegia
We wanted to try a different form of therapy for our daughter. Judy Cheng of Move To Learn Therapy came well recommended by other parents.
Evelyn was able to walk, stand and sit. However, her transitions were not smooth and her confidence was lower. Evelyn has poor posture and would never sit in various play positions such as side sitting. She also had difficulty climbing up onto taller surfaces. As a result, Evelyn would require more assistance and we needed to be in closer proximity in case of falls.
After Evelyn’s Introductory Sessions, we noticed she is choosing to side sit more often and is attempting to take off her shoes and cross her legs.
Judy was excellent in working with our daughter. She was able to continue to treat/teach Evelyn even as her attention changed and was constantly changing positions and doing different activities.
