parents of almost 4 year old Tatum with Global Developmental Delay
We’ve tried all kinds of therapy for our almost 4 year old daughter Tatum over the past 3 years. Anat Baniel Method is one of the therapies that we can say she truly enjoys participating in and has made an obvious positive impact on Tatum’s development. She is joyous as Judy helps her feel connected to her body and helps her feel movement.
After our 3 Introductory sessions with Judy, Tatum came home and successfully transitioned from sitting to crawling and crawling to sitting repeatedly over the following days and she continues to do so with ease.
A month later, after Tatum had her first block of 5 sessions, she found her curiosity and began creeping all over the house to meet her needs and desires. Two weeks later, Tatum had her second block of 5 sessions. We found her beginning to feed herself with a spoon, pushing up into 4 point, reaching up to grab toys on elevated surfaces, pulling herself into kneeling, walking with support for short distances and with generally improved balance.
We have been doing monthly blocks of 4 to 5 sessions for the past 8 months and have seen remarkable progress in many different areas of Tatum’s development. Judy Cheng, through the use of Anat Baniel Method has shown us that therapy can be fun and playful and that it can actually work!
