After I saw Anat Baniel’s interview in the Autism Summit online, I read her book ‘Kids Beyond Limits’ and felt that it might be a fit for my daughter. I contacted a few practitioners in the Toronto area and decided to work with Judy Cheng. I wanted to work with someone who has a lot of experience with children.
Despite being a high functioning autism, Gyvina has many challenges at school. She cannot sit still, is unable to focus and is unmotivated. She is just not learning well. My daughter can be defiant sometimes, not participating and being difficult, but Judy doesn’t get bogged down, she just goes with the flow and is ready to work with Gyvina once the session starts. Judy was able to deflect my daughter’s negative energy. She has a unique approach and a unique relationship with Gyvina.
After Gyvina’s Introductory Therapy Package, I received positive feedback at school. Her teachers have reported better attention, less time between tasks and less tantrums. Also, I have noticed that she is slightly more independent at home.
I was surprised to see these immediate effects after only 3 sessions!
